MOT testing in Leeds

Queenswood Service Centre delivers DVSA-approved MOT testing in Leeds and West Leeds for cars, vans, and Class 7 light commercials, with clear advice and no surprise work.

What is an MOT?

The Ministry of Transport (MOT) test is a legal annual safety and emissions check that every vehicle over three years old must pass every 12 months. Our DVSA testers inspect brakes, suspension, lights, vehicle structure, and more to make sure your car or van is roadworthy.

When you visit Queenswood, please bring your vehicle registration document (V5C), locking wheel nut key, and any previous advisories or service history; we will talk you through any issues and what they mean. Arrive a few minutes early and we will handle the rest.

If your MOT is due soon, you can test up to one month (minus a day) before the expiry date and keep the same renewal date.

What to bring

  • V5C logbook or fleet authorisation
  • Locking wheel nut key (if fitted)
  • Service history or repair invoices
  • Any questions about advisories so we can explain them

Tip: clear your boot and remove child seats unless they are permanently fitted.
